Odaesan National Park The Thousand-year Arbor
Odaesan National Park is surrounded by the five peaks of Dongdaesan, Durobong, Sangwangbong and Horyeongbong as well as Birobong, the main peak 1,563m above the sea level. From the old days, Odaesan Mt., together with Samsinsan Mt., has been known as the most celebrated mountain in Korea. Since the time of the Buddhist Priest Jajangyulsa during the period of rule by Queen Seondeok of Shilla dynasty, Odaesan Mt. has been one of the five Buddhist sacred grounds where Donganmunsubosal Bodhisattva preaches for over 1,360 years with 10,000 dependants.

Lee Hyo-seok Memorial Hall The Home of Literature with the Fragrance of Buckwheat Flowers
Founded in commemoration of the achievements of Gasan Lee Hyo-seok, the representative writer of Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do, Lee Hyo-seok Memorial Hall displays exhibits to show the life and the literary world of Lee Hyo-seok. Lee Hyo-seok is famous for the masterpiece, [When the Buckwheat Flowers Bloom].

Heungjeong Valley The Noted Place in Bongpyeong
